Funky, fun loving, baijiu drinking Kaya is back in town! Super excited to get to see her before Nate and I leave China. My classes went much better today, and my excitement kept me going after our 10 hour work day was finished. Nate and I went straight to the Jinan hutong, where we discovered a tiny bar, barely big enough to fit ten people. They had real long island ice teas, the best in town, and UNO. Nate challenged me to a game while we drank our drinks.

We met the rest of our Jinan expats crew at Lazys Bar. When Kaya arrived we all moved on to a place called “The Tea House” where we seemed to think it was a good idea to spend out time freezing on the roof. Onwards to Kona’s Bar, and we completed our night with Kaya’s flask of baijiu.
