Today I once again I learned my lesson to not ask the children to do anything in front of their parents that they hadn’t done fifty million times in class. I had made a review ppt for the clothing unit by pasting the kids faces over people wearing different outfits. The idea was that the children would look at the picture of them, have a laugh, and then answer the question “What are you wearing?” We ran out of time to do this activity in class, but I thought that since this sentence was review and a very simple sentence to answer the children would have no problem doing the ppt for the parent presentation. I was wrong.
That was my only class for the whole day. Out of boredom I made paper chains with Katrina and Hannah to decorate the classroom for the party. Hannah made an entire flock of colourful paper cranes.
