Food is the one topic that I can really talk about in Chinese. We met up with Sonya today to go to a famous restaurant in the hutong (there was a family there that had come all the way from Suzou just to eat the food!), and I was praised by her and Yazmin for my Chinese! What a proud moment. The food there was delicious. My favourite dish was a tofu cooked on eggs in a hot skillet. It came out sizzling, and almost looked like cheese.
