Despite the cold wind and snow I was determined to make it out to the cultural market. Katrina’s mom had raved about it, but we hadn’t had a weekend off to check it out. It took a little while to find the place as it was down a road and around a corner or two. It probably wasn’t as big as it is in the summer, but it was still pretty cool and had some interesting knick-knacks. We hurried through it, not wanting to linger in the cold.
We bought hot drinks and hot soup at Jenny’s cafe on our way home. It was nice to unthaw. (We were) entertained by a toddler with too many layers to properly bend his arms, who kept toddling back and forth, laughing at the faces Nate made. The one time he came by clutching a cookie, only to face plant on the carpet, cookie flying from his hand!
Valentines day’s coming up, so Nate and I went our separate ways to take care of secrets.
